Michele Conley Vogel

Best businesses' begin with desire, passion, and above all dreams and if you were to describe Michele Conley Vogel, renowned artist and owner of West End Gallery, that's exactly the description you would give.

When Michele was only 4 years old she shared with her parents "when I grow up I'm going to be an artist" and an artist she became, winning numerous awards nationwide for her birds and botanical paintings. Recently winning a National Leadership Award - A Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition, Business woman of the Year for New York State, and selling her works to many famous art collectors such as Eunice Kennedy Shriver and Curtis Strange.

Her father (worrying as a father will) concerned said "she'll probably end up selling her paintings on a street corner," and literally she did! The busiest street corner in East Aurora, in a fabulous old historical school house (built in the 1800's/one of the first school houses in East Aurora) that she purchased in 1989. Through out the gallery are original watercolors and acrylic paintings by Michele. Like most artists she continues to develope her style and try new techniques to her paintings.
